Paisley Pavane

"Paisley Pavane" has been awarded third place in the Dresden Plate: New Quilts from an Old Favorite contest with the Museum of the American Quilter's Society. The quilt was exhibited with other finalists' quilts at the Museum in Paducah, Kentucky, from February 8 through May 10, 2006, and traveled to other venues until the end of 2007. The quilt is featured in the book, Dresden Plate: New Quilts from an Old Favorite, published in early 2006.

"Paisley Pavane" is an innovative Dresden Plate design. 100% cotton fabrics, Midnight Dream Poly Batting, machine pieced, hand appliquéd and machine quilted with hand-dyed variegated cotton, rayon, and silk threads, embellished with rayon thread machine embroidery medallions and more than 3,000 Swarovski crystals.
